Who are
we?:
The Monticello
/ Wayne County Rescue Squad is a private non-profit organization dedicated
to serving the people of the city of Monticello & Wayne County,
Kentucky. We are made up of volunteers from our service area and do not
charge for our services. We are supported by donations, grants,
fundraisers, and a yearly contribution from the Wayne County Fiscal Court
and from the City of Monticello. Again, none of our members are paid, and
in fact, usually purchase most of their own equipment and pay related
costs in acquiring their training.

Mission
Statement:
The mission of the Monticello / Wayne County Rescue Squad is
to save lives and help protect the citizens of Wayne County, to assist
other departments within the county, or to assist other counties when
called upon for mutual aid assistance.
